When fourteen year old Kate Callahan's terminally ill best friend tells Kate about her future and that she will fall in love with one single kiss, Kate is not sure she believes her friend's normally on target predictions. Fast forward five years, Kate now working at her father's construction company, meets Michael Murphy. Michael, the son of a family friend, has come to Crystal Rock Wisconsin from Chicago to intern at the Callahan's construction company for the summer. There is an instant attraction between Kate and Michael that neither can deny... They share a "single unforgettable kiss", however will their insecurities keep them apart?

The story that follows is filled with romance, mystery, intrigue and suspense. It is a story that I would recommend to others who enjoy a well written novel that contains all of these elements. This is the second book that I have read by Tamara Ferguson and I know it will not be my last.
