Reckless in Laguna is one of the ten Kindle World Novellas set in the same location as Kaira Rouda's original Laguna Beach series. The story is about lost love and the possibility of second chances.

Even though Becca Howard and Nio Reyes were from very different social backgrounds they were very much in love until Nio left without so much as a goodbye. Now ten years later they are reunited in Laguna Beach for a mutual friends wedding. Will they be able to see past the lies and deception of the past and build a future together?

I hadn't read the original Laguna Beach series before reading this spin-off. However, not having read the original stories did not distract or take anything away from this well written novella. The story was easy to read and easy to follow. The characters were well developed and I really enjoyed the storyline. I will definitely not only be going back to read the original series, but I will be reading all of the Kindle World novellas that are set in Laguna Beach each of which is written by a different author.

I plan on reading more from this talented author and encourage readers who enjoy romance stories with a second chance theme to give this book a try.
